Classic Yacht Alondra,
is a 60 ft aft cockpit sloop. This Classic Yacht was designed by the world famous Philip Rhodes and built completely with teak(!) by the famous yacht builder Cheoy Lee in Hong Kong. She was completed in 1965.
Her first owner, an American entrepreneur, used her for many Classic Yacht regattas in the US, Antigua and Caribbean.
Today, after 45 years of jaw dropping beauty and circumnavigating the world twice(!), Classic Yacht Alondra has not lost any of her original splendor, with her gracious lines even today she is one of the most beautiful classic sailing yachts ever built.
René and Edith have sailed since 2004 on Classic Yacht Alondra. They brought her around the Med, Red Sea, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and the Malacca Straights.
Since 2011 Classic yacht Alondra has been back in the Med, mainly sailing the Turkish and Greek waters.

Classic Yacht Alondra is a very safe Yacht. Various fire-fighting systems, life rafts for up to 14 passengers and emergency communication are on board. The Crew of Classic Yacht Alondra is fully certified in first aid at sea and an extensive first aid kit is on board.
Classic Yacht Alondra is fully MCA certified to charter and give the experienced or inexperienced sailor the opportunity to sail on board a beautiful Classic Yacht.
